In 2007, SUDEP Aware's co-founder, Tamzin, started participating in the annual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k in honour of her sister, Olivia Mullin (aged 31).

The following year she was joined by Leonie (pictured below, middle back), who lost her daughter, Andrea Simon (aged 24), to SUDEP.

We would like to invite you, your family and friends, to join us this year, to:

walk/run in memory of a loved one lost to SUDEP.

walk/run to raise SUDEP awareness.

walk/run to raise funds for Epilepsy Toronto, which provides ongoing support and assistance to SUDEP Aware and its families.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families affected by SUDEP and to meet members of SUDEP Aware (including Elizabeth Donner, who also participates each year).

Please help us to improve SUDEP awareness by joining Team Epilepsy and taking part in the 2010 Scotiabank Waterfront 5k, Half Marathon or Marathon.  Bring your family and friends along and, together, let's walk/run to spread the word, encourage discussion and improve understanding of SUDEP.

More information can be found in the event brochure.  To register, or for enquiries, you can email Tamzin or call (416) 556-8770.
